Paneer Butter Masala(PBM)

The popular Paneer butter masala which is well known as PBM across foodies is a very delicious Indian Cusine attempted first time in Moti Mahal Resturant of Delhi in 1950. Mostly prepared from tomato, butter, cashews in the traditional way. I have tried to make it in a homely fashion so that anybody can cook it with in a small span of time.Please follow the blog and also give your suggestions to make it even better.


1.Fresh Paneer-200Gm




5.Ginger-1 inch

6.Green chilly-1

7.Red Chilly-As per your requirement(two)


First, cut the ingredients as shown in the pic.Then switch on the flame and add the onion pieces along with chopped green chilly and red chilly and saute it till it becomes golden brown.Then add the cut tomatoes followed by some salt and cook it till tomatoes get soften. Then cool the mixture and blend it until a smooth paste.Then reheat the pan with some oil and add some chopped ginger and garlic into it and add the paste after that.Add some turmeric,garam Masala to it and cook it for 5 minutes. Then add the paneer cubes into it and cook for another 10-12 minutes. Then after switching off the flame add some butter onto it and serve hot with any Indian bread.
