Let’s start with a simple sweet recipe t o soothe our taste buds.Coconut Barfi is a very simple and easy recipe which can be made at home within a less time.Also, the ingredients are simple and easily available.Preparation time is hardly 10 min if you have all the ingredients ready with you.
1.Grated coconut (out of one big size coconut)
2. 3-4 tablespoon of sugar
3.one teaspoon of cardamom powder
4.Amul condensed milk (half a cane)
5.Ghee or butter 1and half tablespoon
6.Dry fruits of your choice.
How to make it
At first heat the pan and add the butter /ghee to it followed by cardamom powder.Then add the grated coconut and mix it well and cook for 2-3 min.When it leaves the moisture to add the sugar and cook it for another two min.Then add the condensed milk and cook for 3-4 min until it losses maximum of its moisture and tries to bind.Then pour the mix into a plate greased with ghee/butter and pat it to bind well.You can add dry fruits of your choice to garnish.Here I have used raisins and almonds.Allow it to cool for 10-15 min.And you can cut into pieces or make laddus as per your wish.
